The possibilities are endless, so get inspired by your favorite memes and go for it! We chose a Ryan Gosling-inspired “Hey Girl” meme and designed our own shirt (pictured) that was later printed and sewn at a local printer.

4. French Fries.

To make this costume, simply wrap yourself in aluminum foil and tape the ends to form the shape of french fries; add ribbon for the ketchup packet if you like (duct tape also works). You can also safely pin or tape on plastic spoons. For best results, use poster board or cardboard underneath the foil to help it maintain its shape. 5. Stop Sign . All you need is an old red T-shirt and a piece of cardboard. Paint the “STOP” on one side of the board, then attach it to your shirt with tape or glue–the back of the sign should be taped to keep its shape. 6. Dinosaur .  This costume is easy if you have a black T-shirt, masking or painter’s tape and a permanent marker or paint pen for detailing. You can also use shoe polish in place of paint for a textured look.

5 Tree

This might be our favorite pick here! To make this costume, simply wrap yourself in brown crepe paper, add green leaves if desired (you could even add flowers!), then add safety pins or duct tape for extra support. For the trunk, simply attach a piece of cardboard to your shirt with tape. 8. Mr. Potato Head .  This is one of those classic costumes that never gets old! You can make your own or purchase this costume if you’re feeling lazy–we won’t judge. 9. Cactus . All you need for this costume is green felt, leaves (optional), white construction paper, glue and tape–and super glue if you opt for fake flowers instead of leaves at the top.

6  Lumberjack

If you have brown pants and suspenders, then simply wrap yourself in some fake foliage, add red strips of fabric for the flannel shirt and finish it off with a beanie hat if desired–all available at your local craft store.
